Tour Details and Stops

The 3-Hour Tour includes twelve stops, each offering about 5 minutes to explore. At each location, you’re free to hop off and enjoy the sights up close at your own pace. If you choose not to stop, the tour takes roughly 2 hours to complete. For shorter visits, consider the 1-Hour or 2-Hour Tours instead.
Note: Some areas may involve stairs or slight uphill walks. This tour runs during warmer seasons and includes all stops from the 1-Hour and 2-Hour Tours, plus the following highlights:

Conservatory Garden (Stop 9)

A hidden treasure spanning six acres, this garden features beautifully manicured sections inspired by French, Italian, and English design traditions.

Harlem Meer (Stop 10)

Named after the Dutch word for “lake,” this peaceful water feature reflects the area’s historic roots tied to early Dutch settlers.

Glen Span Arch (Stop 11)

This rustic stone arch blends perfectly into its natural surroundings, offering a quiet, scenic spot for photos and reflection amid lush greenery.

North Woods (Stop 12)

One of the park’s wildest areas, North Woods is home to thick forest, rocky terrain, and the man-made Loch stream winding peacefully through the woods.

Three Hour Central Park Pedicab Tour Itinerary

Includes everything from the 2-Hour Tour, plus these additional sights:

  • Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
Honoring the founder of the NYC Marathon, this statue celebrates Fred Lebow’s legacy — from a 1970 event with 127 runners to one of the world’s largest marathons, drawing thousands globally.
  • National Academy of Design Museum (Pass By)
Formerly Andrew Carnegie’s mansion, this building reflects his passion for education and public good. Carnegie’s philanthropy supported libraries, music halls, and peace efforts around the world.
  • Convent of the Sacred Heart
An elite Catholic girls’ school founded in 1881, known for academic excellence and leadership. Notable alumni include Lady Gaga and Caroline Kennedy — part of a global network focused on social justice.
  • North Meadow
A vast, open space in Central Park offering 23 acres of greenery and sports fields. It’s a favorite for baseball, soccer, and recreational activities.
  • Harlem
A cultural landmark of New York, Harlem is the birthplace of the Harlem Renaissance. It’s home to rich music, art, and African American history — including legends like Duke Ellington and venues like the Apollo Theater.
  • Conservatory Garden
Spanning six acres, this peaceful garden is divided into French, Italian, and English sections—each offering unique floral designs and architectural charm. It’s especially loved for its seasonal displays, like tulips in spring and chrysanthemums in fall.
  • The Ravine
A lush, wooded area perfect for nature lovers and photographers. Its wild setting contrasts with the park’s manicured spaces, highlighting Frederick Law Olmsted’s original naturalistic design of Central Park.
  • North Woods
A forested retreat within the park, home to birds, wildlife, and hidden streams. Its untamed beauty offers a calming escape and stands in contrast to more structured areas of Central Park.
  • Glen Span Arch
This stone bridge is a striking example of how architecture and nature blend in Central Park. It’s a peaceful spot ideal for relaxing and enjoying the quiet scenery.
